A Smart Cycling Youth class.
This is a cycling proficiency class for children age 10-12
There are 4 classes x 1.5 hours each (April 19, 26 & May 3 & 10) Classes start at 12:30 and end at 2 pm.
Every week we will cover basic bicycle maintenance, cycling techniques, bike route planning, and road safety. Classes will follow the American League of Cyclists Smart Cycling Class curriculum. The classes will include education off the bike and on the bike.
Participants need to have a mechanically sound bike & helmet that fit the participant and must have basic riding skills (able to start, stop, turn and ride in a straight line,)
Participants must be willing to follow instructions.
Class sizes are limited, but more classes will be scheduled upon demand.
